Last updated: July 2026

1. Who we are

This website, shawnlivermore.com (the "Site"), and the related fractional CTO, fractional CAIO, AI strategy, enterprise modernization, and advisory services are operated by Product Perfect LLC ("we", "us", "our") on behalf of Shawn Livermore. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect through the Site, how we use it, and the choices you have.

2. Scope

This policy applies to information we collect on or through the Site, including contact forms, case-study and resource downloads, and the self-assessment tools. It does not apply to third-party websites we link to, which have their own privacy practices. Our SMS messaging program is covered by a separate SMS Privacy Policy and SMS Terms of Service.

3. Information we collect

Information you provide. When you submit a form, request a callback, download a resource, or complete an assessment, we may collect:

  • Your name, email address, phone number, and company or organization.
  • Any message, request, or details you choose to include.
  • Your responses to self-assessment questions and the resulting scores, where you complete an assessment.

Information collected automatically. Like most websites, our servers and infrastructure providers automatically log basic technical information such as your IP address, browser type, device information, referring page, and the pages you visit, for security, reliability, and troubleshooting.

Local storage. The Site stores small amounts of data in your browser's local storage to remember preferences (such as your light/dark theme choice) and to let you resume an in-progress assessment. This data stays on your device.

Spam protection. Our forms use Google reCAPTCHA to distinguish humans from automated abuse. reCAPTCHA collects hardware and software information and is subject to Google's Privacy Policy and Terms of Service.

What we do not do. We do not currently use third-party advertising cookies or cross-site tracking, and we do not run behavioral advertising networks on the Site.

4. How we use your information

We use the information we collect to:

  • Respond to your inquiries and callback requests, and deliver resources or assessment results you ask for.
  • Follow up about fractional CTO, fractional CAIO, AI strategy, modernization, or M&A advisory engagements, by email, phone, or (with your consent) SMS.
  • Operate, maintain, secure, and improve the Site and our services.
  • Detect, prevent, and address spam, fraud, and security issues.
  • Comply with legal obligations and enforce our terms.

5. How we share information

We do not sell or rent your personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. We share information only in these limited ways:

  • Service providers. We use trusted vendors to run the Site and communicate with you — including, but not limited to, our website host and serverless/storage provider (Netlify), customer relationship management (Pipedrive), transactional email delivery (Resend and Google), SMS delivery (Twilio), internal team notifications (Slack), and bot protection (Google reCAPTCHA). These providers process information only to perform services for us.
  • Legal and safety. We may disclose information if required by law, subpoena, or legal process, or where necessary to protect our rights, safety, or property, or that of others.
  • Business transfers. If we are involved in a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, information may be transferred as part of that transaction, subject to this policy.

6. SMS communications

If you provide your mobile number and opt in, we may follow up by SMS. Mobile numbers collected for SMS are not shared, sold, or rented to third parties for their marketing, and consent to SMS is not shared with third parties or affiliates for their marketing purposes. See our SMS Privacy Policy for details, and reply STOP to any message to opt out.

7. Data retention

We keep personal information for as long as needed to fulfill the purposes described here — for example, to respond to your inquiry, maintain a business relationship, or meet legal, accounting, or security obligations. Stored assessment submissions are retained for a limited period (by default, approximately 24 months) and then deleted. You may ask us to delete your information sooner as described below.

8. How we protect information

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards appropriate to the nature of the information, including encryption in transit (HTTPS) and access controls with our service providers. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

9. Your choices and rights

You can:

  • Access, correct, or delete the personal information we hold about you, by emailing support@productperfect.com.
  • Opt out of SMS at any time by replying STOP, and opt out of email follow-ups using the unsubscribe option or by contacting us.
  • Decline to provide information, though some features (such as a callback or downloading a resource) require it.

California residents. Under the California Consumer Privacy Act (as amended by the CPRA), you have the right to know what personal information we collect and how we use it, to request access to and deletion or correction of your information, and to not be discriminated against for exercising these rights. Because we do not sell or share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising, no opt-out of "sale" or "sharing" is necessary, but you may still exercise your other rights by contacting us at support@productperfect.com.

10. Children's privacy

The Site is intended for business professionals and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.

11. Third-party links

The Site links to third-party websites and resources we don't control. We are not responsible for their content or privacy practices; review their policies before providing information to them.

12. U.S.-based service

We operate in the United States, and information we collect is processed and stored in the United States. If you access the Site from outside the U.S., you understand that your information will be handled here.

13. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date above reflects the most recent revision. Material changes will be reflected here; continued use of the Site after a change indicates acceptance of the updated policy.
