How Shawn Livermore handles your mobile phone number and SMS communications.

Mobile information is never shared
We do not share, sell, rent, or lease mobile phone numbers or any SMS-related information (including consent records, opt-in status, or message content) with third parties or affiliates for marketing, promotional, or any other purpose. Mobile numbers collected on shawnlivermore.com or provided in response to our outreach stay private to Shawn Livermore and are used only to contact you directly.
Mobile information may be disclosed only to subprocessors that help us deliver messages on our behalf (e.g., our SMS service provider). These subprocessors are contractually prohibited from using your mobile information for their own marketing.
Types of messages and frequency
If you provide your mobile number via a form on shawnlivermore.com or otherwise consent to receiving SMS from us, you may receive messages such as:
- Responses to callback requests and inbound inquiries.
- Follow-ups related to fractional CTO, fractional CAIO, AI strategy, or enterprise modernization conversations.
- Referral introductions, where someone in your network has suggested we connect.
Message frequency varies based on your interactions and ongoing conversations. In most cases you should expect no more than a handful of messages per month. We do not send recurring promotional broadcasts.
Message and data rates
Message and data rates may apply. Your mobile carrier may charge you for sending and receiving SMS or MMS messages depending on your plan. We do not charge any fee for receiving or replying to our messages, but we are not responsible for charges imposed by your carrier.
Opting out and getting help
You can opt out of SMS communications at any time by replying STOP to any message you receive from us. After you reply STOP, you will not receive further SMS messages from us unless you opt back in.

Carrier liability
Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Message delivery is subject to your carrier's network availability and routing.
Information we collect via SMS
When you communicate with us by SMS, we may retain your mobile phone number, message content, opt-in and opt-out records, and timestamps. This information is used to respond to you, maintain a record of consent, and comply with applicable laws (including the Telephone Consumer Protection Act and CAN-SPAM Act in the United States).
Changes to this policy
We may update this SMS Privacy Policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page indicates when the policy was last revised. Material changes will be reflected here; continued participation in SMS communications after a change indicates acceptance of the updated policy.
